Description

MON.TALYUM-201 I.V. injectable solution is a radiopharmaceutical product which is used for diagnostic purposes. Thallium-201 (²⁰¹Tl) is a radioactive isotope which has 72.96 hours half-life produced by bombardment of the thallium-203 (²⁰³Tl) target in a cyclotron. It is prepared as sterile, non-pyrogenic Thallium Chloride (²⁰¹TlCl) solution in 0.9% of NaCl for intravenous administration. It is used in myocard, muscle & parathyroid scintigaphies and it tumor monitoring for diagnostic purposes.
